Divine Love
There is a stillness
where I felt it first –
not a voice,
not a form,
but something ancient,
ever-present,
like light moving through space,
touching everything
without needing to be seen.
It asks for nothing,
gives without end –
it holds no name,
no weight,
yet it fills
every corner of being.
In its presence,
the stories we tell ourselves
begin to fade,
like shadows
in the face of the sun.
There is no need to strive,
no need to prove.
It simply flows –
a river through all things,
binding what we thought
was separate,
reminding us
that we are whole.
I tried to grasp it once,
tried to define it
with words
too small to contain
its endless expanse,
but it slipped through my fingers,
gentle, patient,
waiting for me
to let go.
In the surrender,
I realized –
it has always been here,
woven into the breath
of everything,
carrying me
even when I could not see.
This love –
it doesn’t ask me to change,
it doesn’t judge my failings,
it simply stays,
unfolding with each moment,
as constant as the sky,
as quiet as the soul.
And in the silence,
I find it again,
a soft whisper,
a pulse
in the center of everything
I am.
